The companies will be able to finance their exports with credits at a fixed rate of 1.5% in dollars
Companies from different segments and fields in the economic activities will have access to credits to finance their exports at a fixed preferential rate of 1.5% (Total Financial Cost 1.55%) in dollars. The goal of this campaign organized by the BICE (Bank of Investment and Foreign Trade), which will continue through 30 June, is to facilitate and widen the access to credits for the companies to export.
“This decision aims to foster the productive development of the country through the financial assistance to SMEs which have not yet had access to international markets and through the support to large companies which need more funds to grow”, said the President of the BICE, Pablo M. Garcia.
The company “Impulsa COMEX” is destined to exports pre and post-financing, the maximum amount to grant per transaction being US$ 5 million. The credits will offer a fixed rate of 1.5%, terms of up to 210 days and an agile and dynamic approval and disbursement of loans.
“For our SMEs, it is necessary to have the tools to improve their competitiveness to reach new markets and go global and, as State agents, we are reponsible for making their lives easier to those who invest in the country and create employment. This credit line to finance exports at a preferential rate allows them to improve their conditions to sell more and to be more competitive”, said the Secretary of Commerce, Miguel Braun.
As the productive development bank of the Ministry of Production, the BICE finances the investments and transactions that generate employment and promote the positioning of Argentine products in the world. In this framework, a new tool was added to its credit offer: a post-financing tool for long-term exports or Forfaiting which, together with the campaign called “Impulsa COMEX”, will improve the international competitiveness of the companies.
