Transportation Works for Power Supplying

On 05/30/2008 a Trust was made and it was therein established that Compañía Administradora del Mercado Mayorista Eléctrico S.A. – CAMMESA – (as trustor and administrator of the Wholesale Electricity Market funds and accounts), sticking to the instructions of the National Secretariat of Energy (as regulatory authority of the Wholesale Electricity Market funds), will transfer the BICE (as trustee), the whole amount of funds to carry out transportation and power supplying works in different places of the Argentine Republic. Works may consist of Busway Laying through underground wires, Purchasing and Assemblying 132 and 500 Transformers, Civil Works and Supplementary Installations, to connect a Transformer, the Laying and Installation of a 132 Underground Wire, Widening of Transformer Stations, Replacement of Bar Connection Reactors, Construction of a new Switching Yard, etc. These works were developed in different provinieses according to the needs defined by the Secretariat of Energy, among them the Provinces of Buenos Aires, Tucumán, Córdoba, Catamarca, Neuquén, San Juan, Mendoza, Corrientes, Chaco and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The total amount administered for the carrying out of these 26 works was $ 1,200 million.
