This recognition was granted after the implementation of a Quality Management System through which the entity decided, among other objectives, to improve the organization’s efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The scope of the Certification entails the integral management of the Design, Allocation and Administration of Credit Programs and Lines, the Creation and Administration of Trusts, the Creation and Administration of Term Deposits and Investments Operations, the Creation and Administration of Capital Market Operations and the Creation and Administration of Factoring Operations.
As a result, the Quality Management System covers all the business areas of the bank, which also includes different support areas, such as Operations and Foreign Trade, IT, Operational Risk, Organization and Methods, Accounting and Taxes, and Acquisition and Procurement.
The ISO 9001 standard was elaborated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and it is based on principles which aim at reaching an increase in the performance of an institution, staff motivation and customer satisfaction by meeting the requirements and measuring progress, always aiming at continual improvement.
