With the aim of strengthening the correct administration of the Bank, reduce the existence of possible conflicts of interest, mitigate the risk related to the administration of the entity and improve its risk rating and its decision-making capacity, we have implemented a Code of Corporate Governance. Through this Code, the principles which govern the administration of the Bank in relation to its object and the strict compliance with the law and its by-laws are defined. In addition, it constitutes an articulate document where the documentary and non-documentary references, which concentrate those principles in the Entity, are indicated.
On the other hand, The Code of Ethics aims at describing the basic principles of conduct and behavior which must be observed by all the members of the Bank. This instrument complements the existing Internal Rules and Procedures of the Bank set forth to develop the responsibilities and functions of its members and constitutes- together with the Code of Corporate Governance- part of the Management System of the Corporate Governance of the BICE.
